Bennett Valley

Bennett Valley AVA at the northern end of Sonoma Valley, nestled between between the Sonoma mountains. Bennett valley appellation overlaps portions of both Sonoma Mountain and Sonoma Coast AVA's. The well-drained volcanic soils and moderately cool climate results in extended hang time and perfectly situated for crisp and structured white wines as well as rich and earthy Syrahs. Cool marine breezes blow and the vines tend to be shrouded in fog for much of the morning. These cool climate conditions preserve the grapes natural acidity and the longer growing season ensures maximum flavor and concentration of the grapes.
